AlyssaParticipant@tmg2014 sorry but I’m afraid only Facebok will have an answer for that one. I’m not quite sure how they pick photos for websites.
November 24, 2014 at 6:10 pm #33637@jeanpierreFacebook cache all the images at first sight, and are not updating them in their database, once they are gathered once. So even if you change them, the only reason why they would change in facebook would be that the server you’re logged-in is clearing its cache – which occurs more and more these days.
If someone is posting a link to your page without being in your contact list, facebook will grav the new image at that time, because it is considered a new addition. this is a logic from facebook that is really useful for their servers/mirrors, evading the overflow of cached content.
So even if a “pro” sells you a solution, it’s a scam… don’t pay him. there is none.

AlyssaParticipantThanks for that info Jean-Pierre I never knew that!
December 1, 2014 at 11:07 pm #33756@jeanpierreFYI… Facebook is actually testing a new feature: Refresh Share Attachement…
when you share a youtube or anyother hosted video/image, you use the edit button to see this new feature…
