Question
March 16, 2015 at 9:22 pm #37442@mmaher95My site has users choose between 2 memberships and each membership has different profile fields. It is defaulting to show both profile field options when the user signs up. I need the profile fields to default to the group selected. I had a different theme and it worked fine. Recently replaced theme with BuddyBoss and am unable to find where to differentiate the groups and profile fields.

AlyssaParticipant@mmaher95 what was the previous theme you were using? Perhaps it was a feature of the theme, I’d like to investigate further.
March 17, 2015 at 9:32 pm #37496@mmaher95Hey TJ! It was Klein

This is the latest version… I had the previous version before this update.

Thanks!

AnonymousHi Janette ( @mmaher95 ), I have checked the theme you mentioned
all the theme will create url like members/varun-dubey/profile/edit/group/2/ for group id 2
members/varun-dubey/profile/edit/group/3/ for group id 3
either it is your old theme or Boss theme
as it is core feature of buddypressYou are using a membership plugin pm pro for offering them membership and you can restrict access to those group field url to get accessed for a particular membership role.
you can create group fields from profile fields under user navigation inside dashboard, there you can group your fields on the basis of your requirements.
Take a look of this tutorial once
