    I have an issue that I *think* might be related to boss. I can’t get any adsense ads to show up on my site, using the google adsense plugin or 3rd party plugins. The reason I think the issue is with boss is because back when I used buddyboss, I could insert ads with the google adsense plugin without issue so I wonder if there’s some code missing from the boss page templates that the buddyboss page templates have.

    I’ve tried multiple methods and plugins, disabled all other plugins, undone any custom code edits I’ve done, and no ads are displaying. Is this something that can be looked at from the boss side to see if there’s something in the theme that’s not allowing ads? Beyond everything I’ve tried, I’m stumped 🙂

    @ionprojekt I don’t see any reason for this. I’m unable to test on my dev server as my account in in review for up to a week. Can you send me a link to your site?

    @tjchester I pm’d you a link to my site.

    On pages (besides the homepage), there are now somehow ads in the header (messes up the header) and footer. It’s weird that they appeared because I never put them there, and when I load up the Google Adsense plugin, I don’t get the red targets allowing me to place ads. I also can’t remove the add in the header. So part of the reason why I’m wondering if it’s partially theme related is because those red targets don’t appear. I can’t test this by switching themes because the google adsense plugin detects a theme change.

    Thanks!

    @ionprojekt your plugin must be inserting these ads, the boss theme does not provide any integration. The class for that ad is googlepublisherpluginad hopefully this points you in the right direction to figure out the cause.

    @tjchester If your account gets past review and you get the chance to test out the plugin yourself, let me know if you’re able to place ads using the plugin. I’m curious if it’s just me, or if it’s boss-specific, etc.
