    @zenojoe

    Hi there,

    I have my own theme that I am happy with and been using.

    e.g. on http://example.com

    This theme does not currently have learndash.

    Is it possible to keep my own theme, and install Social Learner on the same WordPress install?

    And access it on a folder on the same domain e.g. http://example.com/learn.

    I’m not sure as I think you have to have a separate WP install?

    your request is illogical. Social Learner is a child theme for the “Boss” theme here, not a feature. you can install Learndash or Sensei when going to their official site.

    the only thing Social Learner is doing is to make the Boss theme compatible with these two LMS systems and adding some “design style” to them… nothing more.

    I was asking a question, rather than making a request and that’s because I didn’t/don’t understand the logic of how it’s all setup, but from your reply it’s a little clearer so thanks.

    I understood that Social Learner to be a feature in that it is combining LearnDash and BuddyPress, and also a design in that it has a layout.

    If you look at the Social Learner sales page:

    Social Learner, for LearnDash

    The strapline is “A powerful Social Learning Solution, built on LearnDash and BuddyPress.”

    It’s described as a Social Learning Solution which I interpreted as being more than just theming and design.

    Hi @zenojoe, if you want to use your own theme, you will need to add our free plugin to extend Learndash features. https://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-learndash/

    Social Learner for Learndash and Social Learner for Sensei both the theme packages for dedicated LMS and Buddypress.
