    Hello,

I love the ability you added in the Menu for adding links to the buddypress profile and groups but they open up on their own page, not within the profile or group. Which means you end up leaving the profile or group when clicking on those links. Is there an easy way to make them open up inside the profile layout or group layout.

I was watching some youtube videos on how to create custom page templates. If you can tell me where the profile and group templates are within the boss theme folder, I can try and add it to the template dropdown menu in the page creator.

Or if you have a simpler fix please let me know.

Hi @craigseidl, Buddypress template files are not page templates, those are specific and well structured files.
These are not straight forward like page template , https://codex.buddypress.org/themes/theme-compatibility-1-7/template-hierarchy/ will help you to get an idea.
You can get all template files which belong to buddypress inside boss theme buddypress folder.

Thank you for such the fast response Varun.

I did figure out a solution for adding links inside the profile but I’m still working on the groups. I thought I’d share this with the community in case someone else is looking for this feature. I ended up purchasing a premium plugin called Buddypress Custom Profile Menu. That allowed me to add custom pages inside the profile! http://sensibleplugins.com/

Now I’m just trying to figure out the group links. I will post a solution when I get across it.

    Thanks again for everything!

here is a free version but I think its more limited and some are saying that the free version doesnt work. But I just purchased the premium and it works great! It even allows you to make the link Private or public! I love it and highly recommend it.

@craigseidl Thanks for your input. I have also used it before for adding menu items to bp_nav.
