Question
September 24, 2015 at 5:39 am #46990@humunkulusI would like to have the layout of the moblie buddyboss theme as well on the desktop. That means, the homepage should look the same on mobilie and desktop, or in other words should look like the mobile layout on all screen sizes. What do I have to change?
Best regards

AnonymousHi @humunkulus, Theme is very hard codes to make responsive and it can not be made none responsive with just few edits.
Sorry, it will not be an easy solution.

Thank you a lot for the fast response. How does the Buddyboss theme decide to change the layout from desktop mode to mobile mode? Is that switch dependending on the screen size? Because if I change the size of the browser window, it switches on the desktop to the mobile layout.
Is it maybe possible to change the behavior at that point in the code? It just should switch earlier!
Best regards

Thank you a lot for your support! Here a more detailed description of our wish:
desktop layout: the mobile layout should run in a 960 pixel wide area of the desktop screen.
Would it be better to customize the buddyboss theme or to buy as well your bb mobile theme and customize it?
Best regards

AnonymousHi @humunkulus, you can customize it inside the Child theme
No need to buy BB mobile theme

Thank you a lot for the good news! What code do I need to add to my child theme? A code example would be very helpful.
Best regards

I asked the same question to Michael Eisenwasser of your development team.
His answer was: “I would suggest asking about this in our support forums.
It sounds like a fairly simple fix and they can help you out there.”So it would be super nice of you to give me a code example or a more specific hint what I should put into the child theme.
Best regards
