    Hi,

    I have an animated gif that I want to put into the slide show, when I put it in there the animation doesn’t show.

    I would also like to do this for featured images on posts if possible.

    Hi @sportsmockery, you can use Lazy loader plugins https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=Lazy+Load
    I have submitted your request to developers, to load animated GIF on slider.

    I discovered that uploading an animated gif at the recommended resolution worked.
