    Hi,

    I’d like to limit the number of New Courses shown in [newcourses] to 8.

    I’ve tried [newcourses posts_per_page="8"] but this doesn’t work.

    Please advise.

    Seems Sensei do not provide additional parameters inside the shortcodes

    You can try to limit the count from Setting >> Reading for 8 post per page
