I have seemed to found a bug. The site title shows up twice in the top part of the browser. It lists the site title back to back twice if you notice when you highlight the top part of the browser with the site title in chrome.

Hi @chansmith, You can remove wp_title from header.php, we are already working on this. I will be updated in our next version.

That doesn’t work. It will only show the url then.

Hi @chansmith, please make sure you did not do any changes inside your header.php in child theme. We have removed it from parent theme so if you have copied the header.php in your child theme so please delete the ‘wp_title’ from there also.

Not sure what you mean. I have the header how ever you have it in the child theme and it still has double title.

Hi @chansmith, We have updated our parent theme…you can remove it from your child theme’s header.php.

I am not sure what you mean, I might just have to live with two titles then. Like I said, removing the <?php wp_title( '|', true, 'right' ); ?> from the child theme results in no title on the website just the url. Your fix didn’t work then.

    Hi @vapvarun,

I also noticed this issue when using Yoast SEO. I posted the issue here as well:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/troubleshooting-tab-title-problem-with-yoast-seo?replies=3#post-8023526

I have been requested to check title tag in header.php. So it indeed seems like an issue in Social Learner.

Any news on the next update btw?

    Best regards,
    Michael
