Question
January 21, 2016 at 12:40 pm #56821@julienHi,
I am sorry if this issue was answered already but I did not find an answer on this support board!
I just bought BuddyBoss Media and I wanted to add “Photos” in the BuddyPanel.
To do so, I went to Appearance > Menu > the one that is hooked to BuddyPanel and I added “Photos” from the BuddyPress section.
It is correctly added but according to which page I visit, it may be hidden! For example, if I browser the “Activity” page, it does not appear but I am checking my profile, it pops!
I don’t really know what to do – I’ve tried to reinstall WordPress / BuddyPress / Boss / BuddyBoss Media but it just won’t work! 🙁
Do you have a clue about this one?
Thanks for your help!
Cheers,

AnonymousHi @julien, Please reset your WordPress permalink structure, change it to something like default, then change back to post name/BuddyPress recommended settings.

January 22, 2016 at 7:05 am #56874@julienHi, @pallavi. I am very sorry but it did not solve the issue. The “Photos” menu item is still hiden on some pages and displayed on some others! 🙁 I tried different fresh installs and it just won’t work. Do you have a clue about this?
January 23, 2016 at 6:22 am #56982@julienI would like to add some info: the problem does not come from the BuddyPanel as it is the same issue wheter you add the menu item in your header menu or in the BuddyPanel. I think it might come from the BuddyBoss Media plugin.
January 25, 2016 at 7:16 am #57114@julienI’m sorry to post again but as you did not answer, I am rather worried.
Please, is there anything you could do about this?January 27, 2016 at 3:39 am #57284@julienHi, @pallavi – I am very sorry but as I cannot make this menu work, which is the most important one I need to use, and there seems to be no solution to this issue, I was wondering if it was possible to plan a refund and how should I proceed.
Cheers,

AnonymousHi @julien, Sorry for inconvenience
Please add Photos from Pages menus not from BuddyPress menus
BuddyPress menu also have Photos which we add as component and it’s user specific based on who’s logged in. It will not be visible for logout users.
Let me know if above solve your issue.
Else you can send your login details from our contact page along with ref of this topic url we will check at your website.

Varun DubeyJanuary 27, 2016 at 5:03 am #57299@julienHi, @vapvarun! Thanks for your answer.
Alas, it won’t help. The “Photos” menu from the Pages link to the Photo gallery for all members.
In the BuddyPress Panel, it links to my member’s areas photo manager.
The problem probably may come from the user roles, but I tried with an admin / subscriber accounts, and it is the same.
In my opinion, it is a problem about which page you are browsing. For example, if I browse “My Wall”, the menu does indeed appear because I think it only appears when I am on a members page. For example, If I am here:
/membres/test-1/invite-anyone/
membres/geralt-de-riv/It is okay.
But as soon as I am somewhere else:
/index.php
/forums/and so on… It won’t appear.
I send you my login details by email,
Thanks for your help.

January 27, 2016 at 9:41 am #57316@julienHi again, @vapvarun.
No, I think you did not understand the issue, it still does not work.
On the video you posted on Google Drive, you can see:
At 0:13, all you see is the “Photos” menu added from “Pages” which link is: troisiemesexe.fr/photos/
But what I want to be visible is the “Mes photos” menu that you can see at 0:20, just above “Photos”. It only appears when you are on a membres/…/ URL page. This should lead to: http://troisiemesexe.fr/membres/my-username/photos/, this is added from BuddyPanel in the menus.
Do you see what I mean?
