Question
March 25, 2016 at 4:41 pm #65333@aaronmcnanyWhile going through the ‘Create Group’ process the cover photo module does not load, and by selecting ‘next’ it generates an error. This must be related to the theme update a few weeks ago when you transitioned from using Buddyboss cover photos to using BP cover photos…or at least I assume it is.
Coverphotos ARE working for the site overall, but this broken ‘create group’ process makes my site look buggy now.
See screenshot below. (notice URL of error message.)

March 26, 2016 at 2:18 am #65390@anveHi @aaronmcnany,
Just to let you know that previously we were using our custom built cover photos functionality . But after Buddypress introduced its cover photo functionalities , we switched to it and removed ours. By the time we will improve it and will update in our next release.

Thanks

AnonymousHi @aaronmcnany Please try to deactivate
Better Minify for while and test it again, it might be due to js conflict.

AnonymousHi @aaronmcnany, I have checked your site..the ‘Create Group’ process the cover photo module does not load -> seems you have issue in your child child theme.
I checked it with main theme and it works fine…you need to updated group template in child theme.

March 30, 2016 at 5:24 pm #66142@aaronmcnanyI’m guessing that might be because ‘Buddypress–>Groups’ folder has been dragged into the Child Theme, keeping it isolated from any recent updates that pushed through. I haven’t changed anything in the group templates–is there a way I can just revert those child theme templates to the current parent theme template?
March 30, 2016 at 5:25 pm #66143@aaronmcnanyAlso, I’m not sure which document is the problem….create.php or group-header.php
Were either of these updated during the recent Boss. updates? It looks like it would be in the ‘create.php’ file, which determines the AJAXed create groups module.

AnonymousHi @aaronmcnany, If you have developers so you can ask them to check if any file modified in child theme related to group.
