Hey Bruce, have you tried just importing that XML file using the Theme options instead of using WP All import? I dont think you need a third party plugin to import the demo data. I havn’t tried it but maybe you can and let me know how it goes.

Global Search Results tab number shows “Events 38” (this is The Events Calendar plugin)
but when i click on the Tab it shows no results. If i login to Admin Dashboard and go to my Events and search for the SAME word “giving” i get 38 results show up.. So i THOUGHT that maybe because they are PAST events it did not show them on the front end search…[Read more]

On Mobile devices my right sidebar (right of the Activity Feed)… on mobile it floats under the Activity Feed. So now that Infinity Scroll is turned on I can never get to the Sidebar stuff because the feed keeps loading…

How can i disable the Infinity scroll for either Mobile.. or at least a certain screen width?

ok thanks for letting me know. After reading many threads on wpengine and buddyboss/buddypress I was able to force WpEngine to use less throttling on ajax and also ease up on the Heartbeat API. The Theme is now working better and buttons and functions are working smoothly.

OK I have found the issue. The BuddyPress setting “Automatically check for new items while viewing the activity stream” is causing all sorts of issues. When i turn off that setting the theme seems to work smoothly. But If i use another Theme “OneCommunity” I can turn on that setting and the site still works perfectly…

Well… I’m going to have to agree with WpEngine support, its a theme issue and not WpEngine issue. I can switch to a different theme (OneCommunity) and the buttons work great as expected. I disabled that plugin but the Read More link still goes to its own page. Also, I disabled ALL plugins except Buddypress and BuddyPress Activity Plus.

It turns out that its part of the OneCommunity Theme that adds this functionality. I think i found the Javascript code that makes this happen… I copied and pasted it into…[Read more]
