I thought it would be that straightforward when I started, but there’s no full-width template option – just Default.

No, you’re right – don’t want that for the front page. I do want to try a single column, with a narrow(er) content area, though. Basically, I want a flow that reads from top to bottom on the front page – and I want it centered.

Also, I would like to be able to emulate the register page for a pre-sign-up text-only “About” page.

Actually, what I’d *really* like is to be able to use the register page template for certain other pages…

You know, so it has that nice, narrow centered column of text… Thoughts?

Was it perhaps a size limit issue?

I just tested uploading an mp3 and had no trouble. This was in Chrome/Windows 7. (I did have a problem with the uploader not working at all in IE, though.)

Ah, not worth struggling over right now. Just decided to go with a background color that looks nice with the existing menu colors.

BTW, looking forward to the new color picker I think I heard someone mention somewhere…. 🙂

Nope, that didn’t do it. Tried all the classes above, plus #main-wrap and #mobile-header, all with !important.

Now, I know I can’t be the only person to ever change the menu colors! Happy to give you admin access if you want.

Any other ideas?

Are those the only two places where the current menu item color is specified? Am I missing something?

I thought for sure that was the answer. But nope, apparently not. Flushed the server cache, closed the browser, started it up again in Private mode… Still got the blue.

Any other thoughts?

Actually, it happens with the BuddySuite plugin turned off as well. If I just click a User Profile in the member directory, the “Members” (“Connect”, on my site) menu item uses the original blue.

I also tried adding a Members menu item (in addition to my “Connect” menu item). Same thing happens there.

Well, I’ve played around with it a bit more. I think I’ll come back to it. I really would like to make it prettier, and to fix the activity filter, and – since I’d be using the Doc component as well – either remove the Audio/Video/Photo tabs or add a Docs tab.

And the language needs some real work. And I was also having an issue with it…[Read more]

I keep *almost* using it. It’s certainly better now than it was, but one thing I’ve found is that the Gallery activity filter does not work correctly (when you click the Gallery tab, it shows all activity, not just Gallery activity). Also, I’m not crazy about the album formatting – but I can live with it until I get around to tweaking…[Read more]
