Looking good on 3.0.5! Live notification works, and so does Squelch Accordions. GeoMyWP looks fine, too. Woo-hoo!

Yeah, I actually copied the main one over to staging just two days ago and then upgraded to 3.0.4.

I’ll let you know how it turns out.

@michael – definitely accurate; I’m testing 3.0.2 quite heavily with friends and it works perfectly. I have 3.0.4 on staging.

re Javascript – yes, I assumed most would be fixed at the same time. I’ll try these all again on staging w/3.0.5.

Live Notification – bummer about that. I wonder if there’s an alternative.

WP Chat is a premium plugin from wpmudev, and is updated frequently (http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/wordpress-chat-plugin/) – maybe just not updated on the repository.

GeoMyWP – I’m beta testing a new version that seems ok now.

@tjchester – I don’t think so. Like I said, these are all working fine in 3.0.2.

If nothing else, I’m begging you (BuddyBoss team) to fix the live notification/chat functionality. Don’t want to be stuck on 3.0.2 forever….

Just wondering if any of these plugin issues (especially the chat/live update ones) are slated to be fixed in 3.0.5. I am running them in 3.0.2 just fine, but I’m hoping for some assurance that I won’t have to stay on that version forever!

Yes, in that case you’re much better off addressing the BBPress developers, or trying the forum there.

Just confirmed you are correct, Simone. Very interesting. However, I don’t believe that’s a BuddyBoss issue; really a BBPress issue. (To confirm, though, you could try using the BuddyPress Default theme.)

You got me wondering – I’m on wpengine, which has their own caching solution. I wonder if it’s something to do with that?

Although, it’s important to note that I’m having no trouble at all running chat or live notification or any of those other plugins on 3.0.2. So something has changed with BuddyBoss in the last two incremental releases….

Yeah, and they work with 3.0.2 (which is what I’m currently running; I’m testing 3.0.4 on staging).
