With this and the return of those jquery issues, I’m wondering if the 3.0.3/3.0.4 fixes were added to 3.0.1 and not 3.0.2. Is this possible?

@Ted – you might want to try going to Settings->Permalinks and just re-saving your settings there. That *might* take care of the “page not found” error.

FWIW, still no live notification in 3.0.4.

For the time being I’m sticking with 3.0.2, and just experimenting with 3.0.3 on staging.

Still not working. Only these random replies show up. Seems to be preventing me from posting messages with links, or with text similar to what I’ve previously attempted.

I’ve been trying to post links to scaling and non-scaling examples. Oh, well. Anyway, the release notes say something about showing embedded videos at native resolution.

The way I have it set up is that the Admin creates the fields – and then when the user creates an account, those fields are there. The fields in the first section (Base Info) appear at signup. If you create a second section, those fields are available when the user edits his or her profile.

I believe extended profile fields are built-in with BuddyPress… aren’t they?

Yes, go to Settings->BuddyPress. Select the Extended Profiles check box.
You can modify the fields in Users->Profile Fields.

Actually, there are several plugins that broke with 3.0.3. In addition to the aforementioned:

BuddyShare’s Share button no longer works (it’s supposed to expand to reveal social networking icons).

BuddyPress Group Email Subscription – no groups display at all in directory when this one is activated.
