rtMedia provided me with the necessary CSS to fix it within 6 hours. Why not just ask them? Then report back what works….. I dont use the lightbox on my site so I cant really provide much help on it.

PS — Most of the widgets I placed while the theme was installed but not activated in the customizer did not take place when the site was published either. Related or unrelated, I dont know, but FYI. 🙂

Boss is quite the nice theme. Probably the nicest I’ve ever purchased.

Negative, I installed the parent theme on a live site. Then I installed the child theme on a live site. I customized it and then made it active. Server is a cPanel/Apache/CentOS machine, pretty standard setup.

It’s certainly a bug, just had to figure this one out too, and the post above was the hack that let it work.

1.) Test with TwentyFifteen, not TwentyThirteen.

2.) The issue will always be Boss related, because of Boss using woocommerce.php, which overrides archive-product.php.

These are two separate issues, they just happen to be the same problem, but with two completely separate reasons why. 🙂

Most likely because you have copied it into /themes/yourtheme/archive-product.php, which is the wrong location. The correct location would be /themes/yourtheme/woocommerce/archive-product.php. That’s my guess based on your first posts screenshot showing it in the wrong directory.

This is *not* a WooCommerce issue. This is an issue in Boss.

WooCommerce has two ways to handle templates, the right way, and the fast way.

The right way, is /themes/yourtheme/woocommerce/…… with templates modified from /plugins/woocommerce/templates. By doing it this way, all pages can be properly customized.

and then

Neither had any impact. Added it to the file ./themes/buddyboss-child/style.css at the bottom, after the last */

Meh, I’m having trouble installing the backup to a test domain. So I’ll just suffice to say that this is a problem and whatever it is, multiple people here are having it, so it should most likely be fixed. 🙂

I’m afraid I can not test this right away — I will have to install a backup of the site on subdomain to test it like that. The site gets a few million pageviews a day so cant really be messed with live. Expect an answer from me on this in a few hours.

I came here to report this as a bug, too.

FireFox ONLY. Other browsers are fine. Using BuddyBoss v4.1.5.

Let me know if you’d like a login and I can send a new account some private messages to test the function with you so you can see exactly whats going on and try to fix.
