Hello,

I am adding some hooks and raising error messages using bp_core_add_message and i do not see any of them being displayed on the BOSS Theme.. if i use any other theme the same messages show up? A simole hook i added was to remove certain tabs from the manage group.. this is just an example.. i add BP_CORE_MESSAGE anywhere it does not show…[Read more]

Hello,

I followed the instructions on one of the tutorial and copied buddypress/groups/create.php under boss-child. I made text updates to the wizard and all of them show up correctly except the Forum tab of the wizard. What am i doing wrong here? This is now resolved. There was an update for the parent theme today and i think i might have tested it when that update was going on. It works fine now.

This seems to have messed up the customize menu. I deactivated the Theme but i can no longer under appearance –> customize see the different sections like Typography etc all i see are a few styles..

What has happened here??

Thanks Paul. I checked that menu but that needs me to select individual post, what i want to do is link to the page which has all the post. Is that possible?

Hello All,

I added sliders on the home page but now i need to add some more sections at the bottom after the sliders like

1) Additional text
2) Current groups links like newest, popular, etc

and on left had side add blog post links and additional text..

I know how to create a new menu for title bar called Blog but i want to link that menu to the Post that i make. What page is that? I could not find that page in the page list.

Hello,

I added the Forum link on the title bar and when a user clicks it it takes them to the user profile forums tab where the user can see his/her activity. I do not want that.. i want the main title bar forum menu item to open up a page whcih has list of all public forums. How do i do that?

Hello,

I am using the boss theme and for private groups when a user requests for membership it does not open up a page but instead directly sends out an email.Earlier what buddypress used to do is to open up a page where a user can enter comments. Now that is not happening in this theme.

hmm i reinstalled the whole thing again as i had not done any modifications and now the pages show up. I do not know why they were not showing up the first time around.
