I noticed that the most recent theme updates incorporated fixes for the 2.1 beta, is anyone there able to provide feedback on how well @mentions work with the 2.1 beta?

Also (a little off topic), I saw that likes / bookmarks are earmarked for the 2.2 release. How is that going to impact / influence the BuddyBoss plugin in the future?

@tjchester @style960 It appears that it’s in the 2.1 release (which is now available for Beta testing : http://wptavern.com/buddypress-2-1-beta-1-now-available-for-testing

Is there any way to get @mentions autosuggest working without using the BP Labs plugin?

Apparently the feature now exists in the core but I can’t seem to get it working : https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/3278
