@JB did you find a solution to this? I was also trying to use BP Activity Privacy, but it does stop photos from showing up in users on photo area, so cannot use it.

I believe there are issues with rtMedia as well, so not sure where to turn now to get private site to be private and be able to use photos and such as well.

ok, I think it is handled… thanks very much guys… so much to learn in general and then trying to sort out what is wp area, what is bp area and what is buddyboss stuff!

Thanks for the feedback. I will contact the plug in people to see why private is not keeping it private in activity feed.

I was able to get the status posts to stop showing up in the member directory and did get the fields I set up to show, so slow and steady progress…

I could not get it to work after several tries, but I did find a plug in that did it for me and seems to be working.

It is called BP Remove Profile Links. I am worried about adding plug in after plug in as I have heard it can cause problems and slow repsonse etc, but at this point it is the only way to get the dang thing up and…[Read more]

ok, got the page bp-custom.php made and added that code in and it put the code on the very top of the page in one line… it did not impact the hyperlinks but added the code to the top of all the pages on the site

ok in cpanel I was unable to find any file named custom.php…. I used the search feature and also poked in lots of folders in both the parent theme and child theme and also in the wp- folders..

any guidance on how to find it?

and do I just paste that code in any blank space or are there rules around it?
