I’m encountering some odd behavior with Social Learner for Sensei. Everything works fine when I’m logged-in, but I try to view a course page while logged-out, I get the following fatal error:

Hi Buddyboss,

Is there a way to disable user profiles in Social Learner? Or at least deactivate the profile link in the header? I’m looking to roll-out Social Learner features gradually to my users. I’ll add user profile functionality back at a later date.

Actually, scratch that, Pahlavi. I tracked the problem down to my version of Woocommerce Subscriptions, which was out of date. My apologies.

Yes, I know, Pallavi. I’m sorry I wasn’t clear. I’m getting the error after updating everything. Sensei, Boss for Sensei, and Buddypress for Sensei are all running with the current version. Whenever I navigate to a course page, I get a white screen and a fatal error:

I agree. Sensei is unusable with Social Learner as is. I can only assume Buddyboss is working on it, but their silence on the issue is troubling.

Sensei 1.9 features a completely revamped template system, which is why it breaks Social Learner – it’s a major update. If you can, you might consider reverting to Sensei v.1.8.8 until Buddyboss can issue an update.

I’m assuming Social Learner will be updated shortly to support Sensei 1.9? The pagination issue is fixed, but my course layout is now completely haywire.

Right, Pallavi, but that’s not the problem I’m having.

After “switching to” a member, there should be a “switch back to admin” link available. This is necessary for switching back and forth between accounts. I’ve been trying to use the awesome “User Switching” plugin to test different access levels on my site, but there’s a problem with the “Switch Back to Admin” link not displaying properly in Social Learner. Jim, you’ll have to buy LearnDash either way. Social Learner itself doesn’t include either e-learning plugin – Sensei or LearnDash. That’s a separate purchase.
