I cleared the cache, then rebooted. I tried in 3 different browsers and the favicon doesn’t appear

I followed the instructions to FTP my gfavicon.ico file to the image directory of the BuddyBoss theme file (/images/favicon.ico), but the favicon hasn’t changed from the generic anonymous icon. Is there something different I need to do?

  • I have this error since installing BuddyBoss:
The following active BuddyPress Components do not have associated WordPress Pages: Activate, Register. Repair

I’m not sure if I was supposed to have these pages with the BuddyBoss theme, or simply create new pages and link them to these pages. If so, the registration page is fairly self-explanatory,…[Read more]

Each post has a styled header at the top of each post with the title, author, comments, etc. I believe this also used to be visible on pages, but it no longer is. How can I add the same style header as in the BuddyBoss2 attachment below to show the header info for pages as well?

  • That didn’t seem to do anything to display the second line on the slides. Any other suggestions?

  • I have Windows 8.1. Tried it with Firefox and Internet Explorer 11.

  • I don’t know if anyone has advised you of this issue, but the search box in the Support Forum for your site does not display text that is entered. It still conducts a search if you hit the search button, but only based on what is typed, and you can’t see what is typed in the search box

  • I know you guys are busy, but this is a critical issue for me. The profile picture misaligns and it is a theme issue, as described before in the lengthy Logo Malformatting posting. I though resolving that issue would resolve this one as well since they both appear in the titlebar, but apparently they do not. I need to get this nailed down…[Read more]

    @tjchester TJ,

I wanted to thank you for the help with this logo issue previously, but I still have the offset profile in the right hand side of the title bar This too is throwing everything off. I thought it might get fixed with the logo fix, but apparently not. This causes the title bar to be larger than normal, covering content on every page,…[Read more]

  • On mobile, only the Title Text appears on the slider. The secondary text does not, and that is the most important because it adds context to the title. Is there a way to allow the secondary line to appear on mobile as it does on desktop?

    TJ,

Thanks. I was hoping the fix would fix both issues. This resolves the logo problem, but I still have the issue with the profile pick and name misaligned (below the correct line) in the header. This causes the title bar to be larger than normal, covering content on every page, not to mention it looks terrible. I am attaching the same…[Read more]

How is this going? I really need to get this resolved ASAP as I am at a complete standstill until this pertinent issue gets resolved. Thanks

Yes,. but just about all plugins are disabled on the staging site. There’s a logo on that site. It’s a much cleaner version to work with since all but a few plugins are disabled. I’ll send you a link with direct messaging.

    TJ,

This has to be a theme issue. I have deactivated EVERY plugin, including the Buddy Press plugins. I downloaded and reinstalled both the parent and child theme. I added the logo to the parent page with no content, and the logo was offset. I then activated the Buddy Press Plugin and again the profile formatting is off. The logo is exactly 280 x…[Read more]

One other thing, if it helps, the small 80×80 logo seems to adjust size wise (although the profile icon is still not formatted correctly. Only the large logo doesn’t seem to adjust right

I moved the site to a staging site, deleted then reinstalled a fresh copy of Buddy Boss, and still have the same issues with the logo.

The CSS was indded added to the child theme custom CSS. That’s the only place where it appears: Appearance<Custom CSS

UPDATE: I determined the BuddyPanel issue was due to a conflict with a GUIForm. I removed this form from my sidebar and the problem was resolved. I need to add custom contact forms. Can you recommend a good custom form plugin that is compatible with BuddyBoss.

The logo malformatting issue continues to plague me
