I noticed a strange problem and was able to track it down and resolve it. I’m currently on BB 3.1.7, so you might have already addressed it in one of the releases since then. Solved my own problem. I had previously tried several things, including triggering a change on the select after changing the underlying value…but that had an unfortunate side effect (that I had built in for another purpose) of giving focus to the textarea, which I did not desire in this case.

Hi guys. Upon an Ajax response, I’m programmatically re-setting the value of a selectbox, but the label generated by the code in mobile.main doesn’t change with it.

Any suggestions for a quick and easy way to affect the label in a mobile selectbox when changing the value with jquery?

A little sleep goes a long way. I’ve now figured out how to at least call the plugins.php template file from the child theme/theme as I believe is more appropriate than pulling it from my plugin. And I can live with the fact that the first line below USED to pull from the theme and now only pulls from my plugin…I’ll chalk that up to the B…[Read more]

Thanks TJ. I found a solution that will work for me by adding an else if. However, I’ve got to remember to make a quick addition to your code each time I upgrade, unless you’d be so kind as to add the else if for me in the next revision?

Well, that didn’t work as well as I hoped. I didn’t catch that my select box has to be in $selects in order for the mobile layout to display the selected option in place of the label.

Let’s try another approach. Is there any real reason for the else statement (non-mobile) in bb_populate_select_label() to even exist, OTHER THAN to set things…[Read more]
