I have my site setup how I want it. My question is how can I make it a mobile app so users can access it from a phone/tablet app instead of needing to access via a phone web browser. Is this possible and is it hard to do?

Hi Pallavi, That works if I know the users name. I want to place a link on a page where I’m not sure who the logged in user is. Is there a URL that will direct the “logged in” user to their profile page via a page link. Thanks

A few questions

1. Is there a way or a plugin that will auto re-size images? When I try to take a photo with my phone camera or try to upload from my computer it gives me a file size error message.

2. How can I hide the Admin account from the members directory.

I tried both LOCO Translate and PoEdit (even paid fro the Pro version). Neither was able to translate the full text. Some places the word “space” was shown and in most other places “group” was still the main word. I followed what BuddyBoss, BuddyPress and PoEdit suggested and still had the same results. Hi Pallavi, I did modify the the buddypress language. It change some text but not the main parts.

Hi Varun,

I did just as suggested and some text changed to the word “space”. But there were text that didn’t change from “group” to “space” specially the title that I wanted to change the most. Any other suggestions on what I could try?

More info… On my Group Directory Page the heading “User Group Directory” I would like to change to “User Spaces (Groups) Directory”. This is to match the nature of my site. Elsewhere it can say group(s).

BTW… Also, I tried what you suggested and it didn’t work. I even tried just coping the register.php as is to the child directory without making a change and it’s still comes up blank. Thanks for your help with this.

Help!!!

Not sure what I did but I can’t get my registration page back. I’ve tried to profile tools (profilepress and theme my login) to improve the look of the registration. I didn’t like the results of either and deactivated and uninstalled them them now all of a sudden the default registration page is now blank.

Question, when I make the changes and create a new mo file do I place it in the same location as the po file? Also, should I remove the po file or would the mo file override it.

This is my first time making these changes and I want to make sure I’m doing it the right way.
