Go download Marketpress.. it works great with Buddyboss and not only that, you can use the new MYcred system and let users pay with earned points. Both mycred and marketpress work awesome on our community website that is powered by buddyboss.

Just use the inspect element in firefox, find the css controlling the top of the button, remove it, and it removes that little overlay glitch. Remove the css, remove the overlay. Fixed on my site.

@tjchester – I assumed it was bundled with bbpress but apparently not. The only plugin I can think of is Askimet. I deactivated that and it is working properly now (still testing but looks okay). Not sure how to fix that going forward.

BBpress forums don’t work, I tried to post a new topic and it refreshes the page, so can’t use their forum 🙁

Is there a setting to stop automatically moving things to spam unless I mark it as spam?

I put all spam posts that were not spam posts back on the forum, and deleted the rest.

Asked a few people to mention me on the forum, and their posts go directly to spam.

I just cleared out spam, and restored the posts from bbpress replies. But it’s still causing the error and putting the replies in spam. Any ideas?

It seems that they are all being marked as spam replies????

@tjchester We have always and still use sitewide forums.

I haven’t updated either bbpress or buddypress recently, which is why i’m baffled.

This is extremely confusing as it was working perfectly for the last few months and no plugins have been changed, updated, or added. Everything with Buddypress seems to be working but the topics or replies do not show up if there is a mention in it anywhere.

Even stranger.. I can mention people on forum replies and everything is fine. But if someone else does it, it doesn’t display on the forum reply, just on their wall and notifications.
