Also I found that the theme is incompatible with PHP 5.4.24.

Well yes, I might use that, but I wanted to keep it dead simple and… this is not the answer to solve the problem 🙂

Problem 2 solved with the fix posted on this thread regarding post form with bp 1.9.2.

For problem 1. I still couldn’t make a workaround to get it work.
