Go figure. But when you have wp merged with bp, its not necessarily immediately apparent. At least it wasn’t to me. An honestly, I found it on my own, not thru codex. It took a lot of searching!

and I will explain there how I solved my issue. Perhaps it will solve yours. Mine might have been a glitch, or perhaps that is the way the latest Wordpress is set up, but I made it so that everyone can see the toolbar and use it.

No, I am not. I did mention that I honestly do not know what code should be used. I just wanted to show that according to WP, the change has to be made in the theme that is being used. Thanks.

I for one, and I’m sure many others, merge the WP user profiles with Buddypress profiles. So what affects WP also affects BP.…[Read more]

it’s actually the toolbar on the front end I have been having a problem with and not admin bar. I forgot that WP had changed the name to toolbar. I have the same issue that Brian here is having. Trying to figure it out in WP Codex, but I don’t know if that’s where the problem is emanating from.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Didn’t realize I had this response from you! I am using the parent theme. Just to clarify, I STILL have no admin bar for other users. Have it for myself. Is it meant to be this way or not? Thanks for all your help and sorry again for delayed response.

@tjchester, I just cleared the browsing history and it seemed to take care of it. Weird! Is that what you meant by “resetting” to default? Whatever it was, this took care of it for now.

I see. I don’t know what it is with my iPhone then. I never encountered this before. I looked into the reset area. I don’t want to just reset everything as I don’t know what that will do to everything else on the phone (this phone is very new). Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me @tjchester. So you’re telling me that on your mobile device you see things correctly and that it might be my mobile device that’s the issue? Just an fyi, I’m on iphone6 and iOS8.1.2.
