Please see attachment. This happens fairly frequently when browsing our site, but then a page refresh usually clears it up.

I’d like to remove new friendship notifications from the activity feed.

I’ve tried:


remove_action( 'bp_register_activity_actions', 'friends_register_activity_actions' );


But that left a blank line item with the two friends’ names and no text. I inquired of another support forum and was told:

We’re having great success with BuddyBoss 4 but are also interested in Boss. We would like to allow user theme switching to phase in Boss after first allowing members to try it and provide feedback on which theme they prefer.

So we know the site logo – when clicked – can take the member to a static home page. We use our home page to introduce site guests to our offerings in the hopes that they will then register. Once a registered member is logged in, however, the home page becomes irrelevant.

When we’ve tested in-house, we have not seen this issue, but we’ve had 4 BuddyPress members report that occasionally on their iPads the “Add Photo” button on the activity feeds is missing. I’ll try to nail down whether a Safari cache purge clears this up, but can you guys imagine any possible explanation for this?

This is with BuddyBoss 4.

Hi guys –

I have over 300 members on my site, and so far I’ve only seen this issue twice. The Member list of course shows recent activity (like the most recent “status update”) from the user listed. I’m attaching an image that shows what one of my members has as their last activity – a series of Warnings. I’m not sure where to start with this.…[Read more]

Can you help me out with the CSS class/code to color the active tab on activity feeds (and possibly on member profile areas as well?)

Would also be awesome to bold the text on that tab.
