When using a copy of header.php in my BuddyBoss child theme, I understand that by placing in the child theme it is not susceptible to theme updates. But does this mean that I have to inspect theme updates to see if header.php is updated and I must then get the new code for my child theme’s header.php? When blog post is created, it becomes an activity feed item and looks really nice in the feed. But if I place links into an news feed message, of course it only displays the URL – essentially I mean that it doesn’t behave like Facebook, creating a thumbnail, for example. Hoping the BuddyBoss guys – or a helpful forum member – will tell me how to make my bbPress forum display the users @username beneath their image/avatar the way BuddyBoss’s forums are. Shown in image.

I have a test site where I am testing BuddyPress 2.2 thoroughly since it came out recently.

On the “Messages” page, there is now extra text next to the “Search” button as shown in my attachment.

Can we correct this?
