I’m 44 years old and married to wife Kersten.

I have one of the oldest working Linotypes in the world, made in 1912, which I have restored. I learned printing from my Dad, serving as his apprentice. I first learned movable type (individual lead letters – not CMS). By high school I had advanced to offset printing.

I repair and maintain all of my own machinery, which includes eight printing presses. I am self-taught in Corel, MS Publisher, and MS Word. I work with most graphic file types on a regular basis, often receiving work from clients using strictly e-mail and PDF attachments. I like a good chainsaw and a handy skid loader.

My wife and I have two labs named Bell and Sophie.
