@tjchester TJ, I have a question. You said this:
the front-page is a template and is not completely bound by the edit page, you can add content and style it to the header but that is about it. You will need to edit front-page.php to edit the layout or template of this page.

I can’t find this front page thing now. Could you advise?

Hello, is it easy or doable to replicate the BuddyBoss theme using BOSS?

My website followers (and I) like the simple BuddyBoss theme, but I recently purchased Boss and Sensei (and sensei-related products that work with BOSS).

I wouldn’t think Sensei works well with the original BuddyBoss theme.

I appreciate any comments you may have.

Hello, my site uses Japanese a lot and when I click on EDIT, I get a lot of strange signs probably being tokens of Japanese characters. This happened also with a different plugin I tested.

Any thought on this?

In English, I get English with HTML tags.

I’m having the same problem and I AM using “bump to top” plugin. TJ, what did you have in mind when you asked about that. I really like this plugin, though, so I hate to deactivate it.

I also noticed that activity stream page (which I used as the front page) is not giving me an edit option.

Hello, I recently updated to version 4 and I get this message when I go to the login page. Could you advise? I still do get to log-in, though.

Thanks Christopher and TJ. Does that mean I should buy the new plug-ins separately? Did I lose those functions as a result of your separating the theme and the plug-ins? If so, I’m glad to buy the new plug-ins. Let me know!

Hello, I saw that you have the two new plug-ins. I am not clear how they add additional functionality to BuddyBoss because the description reads like the functions (liking other’s posts) sound like BuddyBoss already has them. Could you advise?

I tried this plug-in. It seems working, but it does not bump-up the comments you make to blog-posts. I wish it did. Any suggestions?

Actually, I looked at the problem again and there are REPLY buttons to all comments. Sometimes there are comments that don’t have REPLY buttons. Maybe I will just monitor how this goes and get back to you later.

On my activity stream, people can post an update and they can add more comments to the post, but they are not being able to add a comment directly to a comment. Hope this makes sense. I feel like prior to 3.0, I was able to do these.

Yes, it did the job. I deactivated the minify plugin and all are working.

Hello, I just updated to the most recent one from 2.x. My load more button is not showing more things on the ACTIVITY STREAM page (using the default theme, it works). Also on my activity stream page, I can’t add comments to updates. This just doesn’t work even under the default theme. Add photo is not working either.
