Ok- So although it now ‘sort of works’ – in that the reply emails get through but I just saw the following in the error log. I guess this needs fixing or that table will fix up quickly.

So I looked for the table referenced and it didn’t exist – but wpmulti_bbrbe_token did?? So I renamed this table (inserted _2) and now it works!! But what gives with that??

Here’s an entry from the apache error log – it should help debug? Please help quickly as this is not working at all..

FYI the site can send and receive email via Google servers just fine.

Hi there – what do you mean “lock down site for member only”? The site is closed for registrations and is invite only – is that what you mean? Also we use the WPDEV members plugin to restrict visibility of certain areas; is that what you mean? I’m not sure I see the relevance…

Hi @Pallavi – thanks but that doesn’t help. I know of the plugin options. What I’m trying to do is include a custom profile taxonomy in what the plugin searches. How can one add DB fields to what’s searched?

Check ‘Show toolbar to logged-out users’ is ticked in Settings > Buddypress.

How was this fixed? I have the same issue and I see others do too. How can this be de-bugged at least?

Can this not be made with a neater solution that having the @mentionm text just auto inserted? It looks unpleasant in my view. I have an annual membership to WP MU DEV – can we not work together for a proper fix of this?
