I figured out the problem. I had not selected the box that said “Primary” below. Thank you and sorry about my oversight.

Thank you for your reply. I have the menus working fine on the Parent theme so I don’t think it is an error on my part but I will double check that. My site is up and running so I will wait until the evening to swap themes and send you screen shoots.

When I try to use the child theme so that I can add CSS customizations, I cannot seem to control the menus. It adds all pages to the primary menu even though it looks as if only the ones I want are there.
