I really need to use the Layouts plugin by Toolset which you can read about here:

Toolset (wp-types.com) contains a plugin calledLayouts which is similar to Visual Composer or Page Builder.

Layouts does provide one big advantage though, and that is its integration with other Toolset components making app building quite straightforward.
