Just an update, I went through the whole process again, right from the start of installing Wordpress.

Before installing any plugins other than BuddyPress & BBPress, I tried again, but I still have the same problem.

If you take a look at the profile of a user using the default Buddypress theme, it has the full name, and then the @name below that

The first time I go to the ‘Post Now’ button, I click it, every time after that, I’m only hovering over it.

How do you set this up so that a member automatically becomes a member of groups, just as you have on here?

I just tried that, but didn’t get anywhere with it. I select an image, then click on the ‘Post Update’ button, but you just get the little spinney thing going while the mouse is over it, but nothing else.

Is there a way to show a user’s @ name? On other themes this shows up in their profile.

I like the way this shows the name they want to use, but it would be good if users could see this to mention them […]

In my profile, I’m having trouble with the ‘add image’ section.

I click to add the image, then select one from my PC, but after that, I don’t see how it gets added, as nothing else happens.
