There’s a small issue with the awesome “BP Group Hierarchy” plugin (which is fundamental to our network) and the Buddyboss theme.

Pagination is not working when browsing through the various pages of member groups. It works perfectly on the other themes on our network but not on Buddyboss.

The plugin works perfectly when posting text on a friends wall but as soon as one tries to add media with the Buddypress activity plus plugin then the update is regarded as a normal status update on the activity stream and not as a update on someones wall. With this plugin activated, the “mentions” tab is removed from the profile page and after clicking on the mentioned notification in the admin bar I am directed to a URL with the syntax “…members/username/activity/mentions/”. Sorry, I meant that when a mention comes through and you click on the notification in the admin bar it does not direct you to your mentions stream but to your wall – must be a bug. As a result I have had to disable the plugin.

Thanks TJ but that did not seem to work, so I temporarily installed the other fix (which I know is not the right way to go about it) but do you have any other ideas?

Thanks @michael but the notifications of mentions are seldom coming through on buddyboss child theme. On the other themes I have installed they always come through.

Also, the notifications not clearing bug is indeed fixed, but when a notification is selected in the admin bar it takes you to the wall and not to your notifications stream.

I was recommended to try this:

in wp-content/themes/buddyboss/css/buddypress.css

remove this: position: absolute;
from #buddypress div#item-nav {
on ~Line 3201

I love this plugin but is there any update on when this bug will be fixed? There’s another related issue too. I have Buddypress installed sitewide with BP_ENABLE_MULTIBLOG set to true. When a user is mentioned on site A (for example) with a different theme enabled, a notification is displayed on site B (with BuddyBoss enabled) as it should, but…[Read more]

There also seems to a notification bug – with the admin bar not clearing a notification after it is checked. I’m seeing it on BuddyBoss.com
