It seems unnecessary to me to require the product description field. The short description is all that’s needed for most cases. Could we change this so that the product description field is not required?

I’m not having any issues. However, from a UX perspective, I do think the effect of opening the search box is so subtle that it doesn’t immediately draw your eye to the cursor, and that’s a problem.

My host is running PHP 5.6 and MySQL 5.6.

It seems that the first items noted from the debug log may be gone now after dealing with a WC Vendors issue. However, these persist:

Now that I have bbPress enabled as well, this too shows up in the debug log:
