It’s okay I figured it out, I was just being stupid. bp_loggedin_user_link() is what I needed, not bp_loggedin_user_domain()!

@producia TJ is getting closer to a solution. If you go into the BuddyPress Settings page on WP Admin and disable the activity auto-refresh option then your activity page will work again. It won’t auto-update, but at least it works!

@tjchester Well, if you’ve both tried it on an S3 and it’s working for you guys then I’m going to assume it’s some kind of bug with my phone. It’s working fine on the other phones I’ve tested, but if I see the bug again on a different phone I’ll post back.

@tjchester I seem to be getting all the problems lately! I can take a video of it and send it to you if you like, TJ. Though I don’t know if that would help you diagnose the issue. It may be some kind of bug with my phone.

@tjchester Any idea how we can go about fixing this problem?

@producia I have older versions of BuddyBoss and I’ve tested them. Anything up to 3.1.7 works fine, but 3.1.8 and upwards do not work. The problem started with 3.1.8.

I’m also using WP Engine as a host. I’ve worked out that the bug seems to start in version 3.1.8 of BuddyBoss. Do you think it could have something to do with merging the Javascript files? I know when I tried to manually merge the Javascript files in an earlier version I had the same bug.

WP Engine use PHP version 5.3 and run on NGINX.

@tjchester Hey TJ, I have this exact same error on BB 3.2.0! It’s like the Ajax files won’t load. It works fine in 3.1.7 but breaks in 3.2.0 and 4.0 beta.

@tjchester Any chance you could take a look and fix the CSS for BP Labs auto suggest? As you can see on Gabriel’s screenshot (http://tinypic.com/r/2wqeqde/8) there’s a lot of spacing between names.

It seems to be working again, but I really dislike the buggy CSS. Does anyone know what is causing the large gap underneath each of the found names? I can’t seem to find it in the mentions.css that comes with the plugin.

@johnkilla Hi Gabriel, that shows up for me as well, but if you actually try clicking on a name it doesn’t work.
