@tjchester I’m getting this issue as well. I have hundreds of thousands of images to migrate and I’m stuck doing between 1 and 20 at a time. Changing the set_time_limit did nothing at all. I’m running a high end Linode server so I shouldn’t have any issues at all with resource allocation.

@vapvarun No problem. Do you have an ETA for when BuddyBoss Reply by Email is updated to work with SendGrid? When it’s updated I’ll buy the plugin and use SendGrid instead. 🙂

I use Mandrill (it’s run by MailChimp) to send out notification emails.

Hi @vapvarun. You’re right. I just rolled back to version 3.0.8 and it worked fine. It doesn’t work as of the most recent version. Something broke in one of the updates. 🙁

Hi @vapvarun. I’ve just checked the source and there are supposed to be notifications! The file class.BuddyBoss_Media_Tagging_Notifications.php seems to contain the required code to notify a user if they have been tagged (“%s tagged you in a photo”). This doesn’t seem to be working for me. Is this a bug?

Hi @vapvarun. That’s strange, what’s the point in tagging someone if they’re not notified that they were tagged? 🙁

@tjchester I understand now. I’m not a Java developer so I doubt I could do that. The PHP file, is that the one in the /buddypress/activity/ folder? Do you know what file the sub comments are loaded from? I don’t remember seeing either when I checked last time.

@tjchester That’s what I thought I’d have to end up doing. Do you know what JS file I’d need to edit to change where the comment like box is being displayed?

@tjchester Unfortunately not, since the space has to be at least 6px in order for it to have a big enough gap between the links and the like box. At 6px it is far too big to look clean.

The only way to do this is going to be to move the like box or to give the sub comments their own class. I wish BuddyPress had a has-sub-comments class like it…[Read more]
