The Android issue only appears to be present when logged in. Not sure about iOS. Also, the edit / comment icon on photos shouldn’t be visible to visitors.

An issue I’ve reported with BB Media is still unresolved with version 1.0.6, along with some new problems:

Photo selection is NEVER accepted first time. I always have to select Gallery and the choose the photo a minimum of two times, generally I have to repeat that action 3-5 times.

The BP Live Notification plugin was working prior to the 4.0.7 update, no longer functioning. Tested on a site reverted to 4.0.6 today, works fine with that. Is the simple feature any closer to being standard in Buddyboss? Surely it’s a little dated to rely on a page refresh for notifications. @danpajo @tjchester Is this what’s causing the notifications counter to remain the same after you’ve clicked on the notification? I’ve noticed this behaviour after recent upgrades.

The notifications area should have the option to mark all as read – feature of the Kleo theme.

@michael In terms of Android, I’ve only use BB Media with Chrome since that’s the only browser BB works with – the menu buttons don’t work with anything else. Hopefully the theme can be as stable as it was again soon.

Hi Michael, hopefully you’re able to expand the team. The Media plugin probably isn’t a big issue for me but it would be nice to see it working without error approx. 9 months after I bought the theme. iOS seems to be the big issue, but I’ve personally had persistent issues with Android/Chrome from day one. @denis Float right or full width settings won’t affect the issue. Check that ‘Anyone can register’ is ticked in Settings > General. And check ‘Show toolbar to logged-out users’ is ticked in Settings > Buddypress.

I’m cautious about using the Media plugin on my site as I’m not convinced it’s a stable solution – the BB demo site confirms this for me.

Press Add Photo, Choose an Action box is displayed, browse Gallery, select a photo and more often than not I’m returned back to the Choose an Action box to select the photo source again.

I don’t want to log a ticket for such a simple problem but Login/Register buttons are not showing on vanilla install – latest versions of WP, BP, and BB with fixed navbar child theme 4.0.6.

@webcoreinc @tjchester Unfortunately that plugin is incompatible with Buddyboss. Like others that perform a similar function, the login page refreshes when a user logs in – they aren’t redirected to the front-end or dashboard (as desired). To know you have successfully logged in, you have to manually change the URL. This issue is only with the BB…[Read more]

Please be aware I’ve only written the CSS so far for top-level menu items, I haven’t added anything for sub-menu items yet. Also the fixed elements detach on iPad when selecting an input box.
