@tjchester See attached image. I’ve always seen this when using Buddyboss, but now I’d like to find a way around it. Vanilla install, no plugins, screenshot taken with parent theme activated.

@tjchester That’s odd – all toolbar links return when I switch to Twenty Twelve? Specifically, the Wordpress links and the Dashboard links are blocked for a Subscriber level user with Buddyboss enabled. Not saying I’d want to use those, but BB is blocking some toolbar functionality.

How can I restore the default WP Toolbar so I can decide who has access to which functions?
I did find this earlier post but it’s not what I was looking for – https://www.buddyboss.com/support-forums/topic/going-back-to-default-wp-admin-menu/
Thanks,

Paul started the question Footer Menu Link Styling in the forum BuddyBoss theme 9 years, 8 months ago
How can I remove the underline styling on footer menu links? I’ve added this
#footer-links > p, #footer-links > ul { text-decoration: none !important;}
which didn’t have any effect. CSS path was taken from Chrome Inspector. Underline effect remains but isn’t computed? Thanks,

Paul started the question Min-Height Styling in the forum BuddyBoss theme 9 years, 8 months ago
I have a few pages with a fair chunk of white space between the end of page content and the page border. I can see this:
min-height: 814px
but I can’t see what it’s applied to. That min-height value does differ slightly between browsers. If I switch themes the white space issue isn’t present. I just can’t see how I can override it.Thanks,
Paul. -

And even though each forum has it’s own search box, the results returned still cover all forums collectively. Not sure if that’s a flaw of bbPress but it’s not friendly.

How can I add a logo to the BB Mobile theme? I found this thread and followed the steps on there, including adjusting the background-size in css:
https://www.buddyboss.com/support-forums/topic/mobile-logo-icon-left-menu/
It’s not that my logo needs styling, it just doesn’t display at all. Does this need to be implemented differently?
Thanks.

Paul started the question Featured Images in the forum BuddyBoss theme 9 years, 8 months ago
I’ve being looking into adding the featured image on a single post in Buddyboss – this is made harder than it should be. In fact, BB is the only theme I’ve used that doesn’t add the featured image nicely into the post automatically. It seems an odd decision to exclude this?
I now have it working in a fashion but there are styling issues with it…[Read more]

Paul replied to the question Fixed Navbar reverts to normal Child Theme in the forum BuddyBoss theme 9 years, 8 months ago
@tjchester Resolved. Downloaded fixed nav child theme again to see a load of missing code from the functions file I was using. Added new menu to new functions file, uploaded, sorted. Thanks.

@tjchester Yep, issue remains with all plugins deactivated. Uploaded normal child theme, also unable to apply custom.css edits with that as well.

Manual css changes are not called either, only changes made in the Customizer take effect. Custom.css isn’t working which probably explains why the fixed navbar styling is ignored.

Paul replied to the question Menu panel assignment in the forum Boss. theme 9 years, 8 months ago
@tjchester If I use Boss I will. My feeling is that it’s too tightly designed around Buddypress, it should really be advertised as a Buddypress only theme.

I’ve activated the fixed navbar child theme. First step is to change the Navigation colour to something different, then set it back to default otherwise it’s transparent on first use (old issue I reported many months ago). I’ve then edited header.php and my functions.php to call and display a header menu. When I add these files to the fixed navbar…[Read more]

@tjchester Done, looks fine in Customizer, still show all icons front-end. Sorry, not fixed.
