Try adding body .site after body and before #main-wrap. This does work when using Chrome’s inspector tool on your site.

Correction:

html, body, #main-wrap, #inner-wrap, #page, #main, #masthead{background:black !important; color:white !important;}

@discdemo body still has a background color of #FFF. Try this:

html, body, #main-wrap, #inner-wrap, #page, #main, #masthead{background:black; color:white !important;}

@tjchester My issue is that while I do want to use Boss I find the BuddyPanel eats up to much real estate on and iPad or similar size tablet screen. @tjchester Just CSS? I’ve tried adding the mobile header styling to tablets+ but iPad retained the normal header.

@jcolk TJ can clarify, but I’d check the PHP version your host is using. I don’t see this on 5.3.28. Put this in an empty .php file, save and name as anything you like, upload it, and navigate to it through your browser – page returned will display your hosts current version & environment:

@ionprojekt I’m not sure how you have this setup? Even with a page set to use the Front Page Template, Slides won’t show unless you’ve added some yourself (and have Buddypress activated).

@mdorsch If you followed this – http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_a_Static_Front_Page – and you have created one or more posts, I would try deactivating any unnecessary plugins. There’s nothing specific to BuddyBoss themes in terms of setting a blog page than the instructions in the WP Codex.

@creativitijd This is coming as part of the BP core.

@milena The latest versions of each. Note – the last update to bbPress was two weeks ago. If your problem is more recent than that, it’s likely bbPress isn’t at fault.
