yup, upload photo work pretty well…. but ajax picture gallery is still in problem!
now alternatively, i have been trying bp-album, it’s free!

I have the same problem with picture gallery….

I used BuddyPress reCAPTCHA (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-recaptcha/)
but you must manually edit the plugin to add your reCAPTCHA Api keys from google.
