Hi TJ

It happens only if a person is logged out. If they are logged in, then it works fine. As far as I can tell it happens on any page.

I know I can delete and reinstall buddypress through the plugins but what about just reinstalling wordpress on the update page of wordpress. It gives that option.

Hi Guys,

I am having a problem with a white screen 500 error when notifications are turned on. This is reported to have been fixed by the guys at buddypress in 1.91. https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/5299

I am upgraded to buddyboss 3.4 and using buddypress 1.92

Any suggestions?

Hi,

I have a member who says that the site is buggy with mini opera. Here is his specs. I can’t tell you what for sure other than it doesn’t format right and the buttons don’t work.

Phone: Metro PCS Yulong 5860E

Android Ver. 2.3.7

Browser: Opera Mini Ver. 7.5.3

Oh and the “Add Photo” link still doesn’t work for IE 10 but I installed Buddypress Activity plus and the camera link to upload a photo works in all browsers.

Ok, I updated the site again. The offending plugin was SeoPress. Might want to make a note of that.

I will try it again late tonight when traffic is low. It is a live site and so people start emailing me when this stuff happens.

Ended up rolling back to pre mobile buddyboss. The latest update crashed the site. I will wait til things are more stable.

Well guys,

Your upgrade caused the white screen of death. I had to revert to buddypress child theme to get operational again.

Do you have an estimated time til the bug in IE 9 and 10 is fixed? I have a live site and am receiving a lot of complaints. If it is not soon, I may have to switch back to the old version which I would hate to do since the mobile friendly part is important as well.

I believe they are talking about scrolling down their live feed. It is causing the samsung to crash.

When you unzip the unzip first file the files inside are not zipped so you can’t upload them directly but have to use ftp.

Same problem on my site. IE Exploder 9 cannot post or upload pic. IE Exploder 10 cannot upload pictures.

The only other feedback I have had from users is that JB4.1.2 on Samsung Note scrolling is unstable.

Go to your file manager, then find the buddyboss theme, go to _inc, then global js and edit the file.

Ok I found the same line in the buddyboss theme, changed it to what was recommended, and still no fix. Any other suggestions?

Found the file. That bug has been fixed in 1.7.1 You said to place this code into the glogal.js var a_inner = jq(‘li#’ + type + ‘-‘ + a_id + ‘ .’ + inner_class + ‘:first’ ); It is already there.

Can you tell me where to find this file? Neither the buddyboss or the buddypress default theme has this path. bp-themes/bp-default/_inc/global.js At least not from the editor.
