I tried a few plug ins, but they didnt work. I de-activated them currently.

There has to be somewhere on one of the custom CSS templates that is directing users to that link, that I should be able to edit and direct to another link correct?

The forgot password link on my site is now directing to a 404 page

http://mysite.com/lostpassword/?redirect_to=

How to I get it to direct to:
http://mysite.com/my-account/

I somehow removed all my editor widget rows, and cant restore them..all the code seems to be in one widget now for some reason.

Basically, my buttons are gone and the page is displayed differently now for some reason. Im looking to restore the gear icons, etc and the page layout that the demo had..but keep all my color settings.

Last question for today. I made some changes in the editor on my home page, and lost all my buttons and configurations. Is there anyway to get it back? If not, can you reset the home page to the default boss them demo version for just the home page?

I got it working again. Thank you for the help. Maybe you can advise me on my issue so I dont bring the site down again.

I am trying to redirect users who click on “forgot password” link.
Currently it takes them to this link: http://mysite.com/my-account/
I need it to toke them to:
http://mysite.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

Its hard for me to say now. It was one i found on one of the forums. When I go to my site now I get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ”lostpassword_url’, ‘my_lost’ (T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE), expecting identifier (T_STRING) in /home2/wabnvi0aa3zi/public_html/wp-content/themes/Boss-Child-1/functions.php on line 58

I am actually getting closer..

When I click on forgot password, it takes me to: http://mysite.com/my-account/

I need it to actually go to: http://mysite.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

I cant find where to update this at..

The registration function is working perfectly, but the forgot password is not. When I click on forgot my password on the log in screen, it sends me to a Invalid activation key prompt. I never get an email, or anything with an activation key. Any ideas on how I can update this?

Well, that completely crashed my site after installing that plug in.

Disregard. I found a custom CSS in another thread to fix the issue.

It is stating “invalid activation key”. Is there a way to disable this and just send a temp password or something? It is not sending any activation key to the registered users email address currently.

Ok, looks like I have the registration email working. Now, the forgot password and activation key is my next obstacle and doesnt seem to be working.

I can now send a “test” email from Easy WP SMTP settings page, but the registration email is still not being sent to the user.

Is this what you are referring to?

I installed the Easy WP SMTP Settings, and tried configuring my email account from my service provider, but it wont even send a test email.

I have tested the initial new user registration email, and the forgot password email and neither work.
