Hey!

Major privacy issue happening. One of my members informed me that they could see group forum posts they were not a part of, and these groups and forums are meant to be hidden. They can see all of the activity on their wall if they are friends with someone in that group.

Hey Varun, the avatar is there for the last poster, but the author of the post itself is not there which is usually right underneath the topic title in bbpress forums.

Hey, in BBPress forums the topic author is not visible under the topic. Did you guys take this out? It returns when I switch themes. I’d really like it. Thanks!

Hello,

When I get a friend request notification and click the notification it takes me to the ‘read’ friends requests section, anyway to make it auto go to unread when clicking the request? Makes more sense. Thanks!

Hey!

I can’t find any way to search for a member and remove them from a group. You have to go through many many pages to find a member manually in the back and front end. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions, it’s really a pain :/ I know this is more of a buddypress issue, but maybe Boss can improve on it if possible?

This is why I wait for everyone else to install it first.. or install it on my development website. If you update anything on your live website without testing it first, it is your fault, not Boss. 😉

Hey Varun, thank you – is there a way to block the functions that also sync the members between the groups and courses? I don’t want them synced, it’s not working quite right and when I unenroll someone it adds them to the group and stuff. So I would like to just stop the syncing altogether. Thanks!

I deselected the activity boxes in the group management but I am still getting activity updated for every single lesson a student completes -_- Can everyone else turn it off no problem? Thank you!

Hey Varun! Any update on this critical privacy issue? I’ve turned off lessons in the BB Global Search in the meantime but my students loved that capability. Thanks

All pages unfortunately Varun. Any page that has a side bar is just an empty space. I reverted back to the previous version of buddyboss in the meantime but am testing it out on my other domain trying to figure it out. No one else has this problem? If not I can check for conflicts. Thanks
