Just narrowed down an issue. When you have this plugin installed and you go to the activity page on One Social theme and click on the “What’s new username” the text box doesn’t appear and you get the following js errors on the page:
selectboxes.js?ver=1.0.2:58 Uncaught TypeError: $ is not a function
css3-animate-it.js?ver=1.2.4:485 Uncaught…[Read more] -

You can’t remove them. They’re required for WP Engine to work properly. It’s part of the managed hosting. Just saying anyone who is hosting on WP Engine will not be able to use this part of the theme functionality.

Sorry just to clarify not a themed login plugin – it’s the One Social theme. Just Buddyboss -> Register/Login -> Register/Login Overlays. If that’s on and you enter the incorrect password (and you’re hosted on WP Engine) the error will never show and the login will just spin and spin. Hope that clears it up.
Just to make it clear – only happens…[Read more]

Having an issue with WP Engine specifically and their mu-plugin and the themed login. When you enter the incorrect password the submit button just spins and spins and never tells you you have entered the incorrect password.

Will replied to the question 3.1.7 mobile panels not working in the forum BuddyBoss 3.0 10 years, 10 months ago
It’s not a mission critical plugin. Just makes some forms look nicer. It’s not a priority to have it working.

Also when it’s disabled I see what you mean by buttery smooth 🙂

So I’ve narrowed down the conflict to the following plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/gravity-forms-auto-placeholders/ When I disable it I get all the goodness of the update. When it’s activated neither of the side panels work.

Yes I can. After a lot of plugin turning on and off I’ve figure out that it’s http://wordpress.org/plugins/gravity-forms-auto-placeholders/ that appears to be causing it. I’ll post in support as well.

Hmmm… I get no left panel and the right panel is frozen on mobile. I tested with just the parent theme as well so it’s not a conflict with the child theme. Any thoughts?

Update seems to cause “double avatar” to show up in the wall. Whenever there is a new friend on the site the person being “friended” their profile image shows up double (both in wall & newsfeed).

Will replied to the question BuddyPress Group Email Subscription Plugin in the forum BuddyBoss 3.0 10 years, 11 months ago
Ah – thanks. I knew it had to do with the visible overflow but couldn’t figure out the first part! Only issue with this then is that is causes the email selection link and the “Public Group/ 4 members” part to overlap now – but overall it’ll do for now! Thanks!

It seems there’s a conflict with the css from the theme and this plugin. When you have it installed and go to “Groups” on the right above the leave group buttons there’s a link that shows the email setting you have for that group. The dropdown menu that shows up when you click the link is obscured behind the next group in the list. This has…[Read more]
