Parameters

Promotion notification email message text.

Object holding the current group instance. Passed by reference.
- $promoted_to

Role that the user was promoted to within the group.
- $group_link

URL permalink for the group that the promotion was related to.
- $settings_link

Removed in 2.5; now an empty string.
