Activity shows MY USER when I manually add someone to Sensei

Hi again

I have this issue, and have replicated it on a test install, and deactivating other plugins, can you confirm that its an issue?

I have 1 woo-product (it can be purchased with paypal or bank deposit)
when they purchase it with paypal, no problem user gets added to sensei course

When they pay offline, then I APROVE the woo-order

(that should add them to sensei course, right?) it doesnt, and its same product id, same product that they can purchase with paypal)

So next thing is, I have to add that member to the sensei course manually

But when I add it from the backend this happens:

On activity front end, shows MY USERNAME as if im starting to take the course, not the actual student.

Shows 2 activity feeds:

MYUSER started taking the course…
CORRECTUSER-MEMBER just joined the group….

So only on the started taking the course, shows my admin user as i added him manually.

I can’t seem to be able to reproduce the issue on my end. I can confirm that pay offline, then APROVE the course woo-order is working as expected on my end.

Could you let me know what other plugins are currently active on your site? Do you happen to use any other Sensei Add-ons plugins?

If so, it might be worth trying to deactivate them, one at a time, and also deactivate the Boss for Sensei and BuddyPress for Sensei to see if the problem is linked to a conflict with these plugins.

1 issue found 1 still to go.

I deactivated almost all plugins kept it to minimum
wocommerce
sensei

And the offline orders, the student is added BUT ONLY
after the student visits the COURSE page, at that moment the student is added to sensei
if the student browse thru activity, etc sensei wont add it.

have tested this 10 times, does this happens to you? I guess is a woo issue? Can you confirm this with me please?

Now, 2nd issue, after that, when I manually add a student to sensei in the back end
on the front end course activity it shows

MYUSER started taking the course…
CORRECTUSER-MEMBER just joined the group….

BUT when I de-activate the plugin BuddyPress for Sensei, then that gets fixed.
I get:

CORRECTUSER-MEMBER started taking the course…
CORRECTUSER-MEMBER just joined the group….

BUT WITH MY PROFILE PICTURE.

RE 1st issue; I can confirm; I could reproduce the issue. I would suggest that you contact the Sensei plugin author here, and let them know about the issue.

RE 2nd issue; That’s indeed an issue and we hope to be able to tackle this issue soon, actually.
