Add Photo Button

I installed Boss yesterday, and i like the new styling and the fact that my users can choose their own cover photo.
BUT the add photo button is gone? i had to go back to buddyboss theme to add photos.
Is this a glitch? or can you help me get the add photo button back.
Also when i click on a friends name, i see the add photo button, BUT it’s not active, i click on it and nothing; is there something i need to change?

@digital-porch Welcome to the BuddyBoss community! I noticed you also sent an email via the contact form but I’ll just reply here. Do you have any other photo plugins installed like BP Activity Plus or rtmedia? Try disabling other plugins and check again if the conflict is resolved. Please do this with all of your plugins until you find the plugin conflict. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for getting back to me TJ.
I currently do not have any of those installed. The only plugins I’m running that might matter are, bbpress, buddypress, buddypress media, buddypress wall. I don’t know why some functionality changed when i upgraded the theme to boss.
Lastly if you look at my site some other things have changed also, like click on activity and you see register above the all members tab, that wasn’t there before the upgrade. and click on members you see members above the all members tab, that also wasn’t there before the upgrade. After some looking i noticed they are h1 tags. Can you tell me where the h1 tags are located?
I really like the new theme and want to use it, but can you help me resolve the photo issue? If you need any more information please ask and i will provide any other information i can.

TJ i have an update for you, i went back to boss child theme, and still the same results BUT when i went to customizer everything works. the add photo button is there and I’m able to post pictures, BUT in a subscriber role and even in in my admin account no add photo button on my wall, BUT when i click on a friend the add photo button is there BUT Nothing when i click it. Do you have any idea what might be causing this? and is there a solution on how to fix this? I hope this extra information will make things easier to solve.

@digital-porch can you try reinstalling the theme, possibly via FTP if you are able? Sounds like a parsed file error. I looked at your site source and it is parsed oddly. It is interpreting all browsers as IE. I believe this is the issue.

This is the message i get after i reinstalled via FTP

Broken Themes
The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template.

Boss. Child Theme The parent theme is missing. Please install the “boss” parent theme.

and after i updated the parent theme this is the error i get

An error occurred while updating ..: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

Is there a way i can download another copy of Boss from a different server, or a complete copy? i don’t know if the file got corrupted during transfer, but it seems to be that files got lost during transfer.

To add an issue to the ad photo button, mine is loading very slow. Sometimes the photos do not even show up on the timeline. I am also using Google page speech services.
