Question
October 3, 2015 at 5:06 pm #47854@sharonsharonmitchell-com-auI got the following error message when trying to add social learner to my appearances on wordpress :
‘The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.’
I had downloaded and zipped the 6 files that were sent to me from Buddy Boss, what have I done wrong?
I do not speak fluent geek so you will have to explain it to me like a two-year old 🙂

AnonymousHi @sharonsharonmitchell-com-au,
The Social Learner theme package includes:
Boss. Theme
BuddyPress for LearnDash (free plugin)
Social Learner Add-On
Social Learner Child ThemeSo please unzip the folder and try to upload each one by one, first upload Boss theme, then its child themes.
BuddyPress for LearnDash is a plugin so upload it from add plugin section.Regards
PallaviApril 17, 2016 at 5:17 am #68651@paulreidHello,
I’ve purchased the Social Learner theme also and get the same warning “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.”
Neither the Social Learner Add-On or Social Learner Child Theme are available for download. Attached is a screenshot of what is available for me to download.
Kind regards

AlyssaParticipantHi there,
I’m sorry to hear about the trouble! Could you install and activate themes/plugins in this sequence after redownload Social Learner pack?
1) Boss Child theme
2) Learndash plugin
3) BuddyPress for Learndash plugin
4) Boss for Learndash plugin. The Social Learner child theme is no longer required and has been deprecated. We have added all our functions inside complementary plugins and you can use the Boss child theme for your custom edits. The Social Learner child theme has been removed to give customers more flexibility to keep custom edits in your child theme. Earlier you would have to update the child theme manually from our updates and update your custom code within that.
Please let me know how that works for you!

AlyssaParticipantHi again!
Things look good on your site: http://nextbadges.com.au/
Is there anything else I can do to help?
November 3, 2016 at 6:16 am #74383@jluna702I have a boss theme installed. Which zip file plugin should I install for learn dash, I have multiple zip files after buying.
October 2, 2017 at 1:38 pm #124400@lifemechanicSame issue here. No download file for Social Learner. I tried the One-Click Install and it refuses to add the theme this way as well.
November 20, 2017 at 10:47 am #128691@aussieenglishI have the same issue… I bought the product and want it set up as the demo, but there’s no file for the Social Learner theme. Is there any information on how I can do this?
November 25, 2017 at 1:35 am #129300@txhawk911I am having the same issue. I have followed all the videos on how to one click install the demo, but I don’t think it’s finding anything for Social Learner. Anybody figure this out?
